Inspired by the growing power of social media influencers, digital fitness market leader Wexer recently introduced a new Channels feature to its ecosystem, allowing Wexer to hand leading influencers their own content channel.
Initially available via its ‘any time, anywhere, any device’ Web Player, but ultimately set to roll out across the full Wexer ecosystem, Channels means influencer content can now be enjoyed by Wexer users the world over.
Kicking things off is Lean After 30, the body transformation plan created and led by influencer, and leading/top fitness professional, Alex Allan, who has just signed a new partnership agreement with Wexer.
Wexer’s global head of content, Morten Andersen, explains: “COVID-19 has changed the dynamic of our sector forever, giving rise to a new generation of fitness rockstars who have embraced the online arena. They – influencers such as LA30’s Alex Allan – are now the content creators, engaging large audiences, meeting expectations of regular new content, becoming brands in their own right.
